We spent 8 nights at the Paradisus on an all inclusive package as first part of our adventures in Mexico.
Overall the hotel has good amenities and is in a great location for the beach, golf and other activities. It has a decent beach, although a little isolated if you want to go out. Our rooms were clean, the second one in nice location (2nd floor) in bungalow close to tennis court. Unfortunately the sailing equipment was basic. Our snorkeling tour was nice, the reef pleasant but could be richer in fish stock. The 5 restaurants were nice and the staff friendly but after a week it was enough.
A bit strange was the restaurant booking service (having arrived at 5 pm they informed us that we could only eat in the buffet despite there being 5 restaurants to choose from as the booking system closes at 4 pm) and invitation to the promotional breakfast by Sol Media upon arrival.
Overall the hotel was right for a relaxing beach based holiday but had hoped for a bit more personal service
